One-on-one Groups for Private Conversations inside D2L

Groups and discussions tools can be used to set up private conversations between instructors and students inside a D2L course offering.

The video demo shows the following steps:

1. Create a group category with 1 student per group
2. Set up the discussion forum and topics for private conversations
3. Write a thread starter for each topic and post it simultaneously to all private discussion topics
4. Add discussion topics as new students enroll in the course
